Not Just A Workspace

I was intrigued that a recent twitter post featuring a photograph of my new workspace was so popular.  For me this workspace is significant - it represents a shift in how I want to work and live.  Maybe this resonated with my followers?

It’s a space I feel safe and calm. It’s a space I can think in. It’s a space I can spread out big bits of paper to plan. It’s a space I can be creative in. It’s a space I can coach from. It’s a space others can feel safe and calm in.

This workspace represents a movement away from being on autopilot and stuck. Making the decision set up my own business and to reduce my hours with my current employer was HUGE from me! It wasn’t something I ever thought I would do but just over a year ago I knew something had to change.

A year last May I felt so overwhelmed by things that I started working with a coach. I was for sure out of my comfort zone but I knew I wanted things to be different I just didn’t know what or how. Over time I had the space to explore my thinking, clarify what I wanted and start aligning my actions and decisions to help me move towards that.

In the last 6 months I have gone from making small changes in my day to day life and work to deciding to  set up my own business and actually doing it. The small changes I was making were just as important and significant as the business one. We don’t always have to make big changes to reap huge benefits to our wellbeing, satisfaction and sense of self.

If I can help you get some clarity, make changes, feel more satisfied or better then please do get in touch. I offer 1:1 coaching as well as a group programme for women who want to think, explore ideas and create change alongside other brilliant women.
