Your space to connect, nourish & enrich

CONNECT

Sometimes we look around & it seems like everyone else has it all sorted. At The Thread we are growing a community of educators who engage and explore all the things that keep you awake at night. Relationships nurtured over time enable you to delve into the hurdles more deeply & thoughtfully.

A space where you belong.

NOURISH

Your work is both emotionally & cognitively demanding. Being part of a peer community offers a space where you are heard & understood & can hold each other with care & empathy. We appreciate the importance of having a support network for sustaining your energy & enthusiasm.

A space where you are understood.

ENRICH

How often do you try to extend your bandwidth to keep on top of things? The pace & nature of your work means there is constant pressure to do more with the time you have. Think of The Thread as a space that expands your thinking, helps organise your thoughts & inspires new ideas & insights.

A space where insights emerge.

“a safe and nurturing space. I’ve found the linking to the seasons particularly helpful. It is like a balm attending a session.”

“Resources are shared along with new ideas and pathways introduced that resonate with me and which I have continued to explore.”

About the space

Grounded in the principles of psychology and coaching our monthly gatherings and seasonal workshops offer educators a sanctuary for reflection and rejuvenation where professional and personal wellbeing are woven together.

Join us to connect with peers, to be nourished personally and professionally and leave feeling enriched and ready for the month ahead.

We know that working and leading in education requires a lot from you on a daily basis. We understand the relentless pace and push for productivity. We also know the positive impact of pausing, of having time to think and space to think out loud with peers.

That’s why The Thread was created, a space to renew and reset.

What to expect

Join us to experience a unique blend of camaraderie, learning and empowerment, all designed to enrich your life and career. The Thread offers a thoughtfully curated monthly and seasonal approach to guide you through the rhythm of the academic year.

Monthly gatherings are designed to be gentle yet powerful punctuations in your month, an opportunity to connect with peers, recalibrate and refocus for the weeks ahead.

We will meet online, on the first Wednesday of the month for 50 minutes (7.05 - 7.55 pm). These monthly gatherings offer and guide you through individual reflection and small group conversation.

Our four seasonal workshops are an opportunity for us to take a deep dive into key topics and ideas that will support you in your life and work. From Autumn’s focus on fostering creativity to Winter’s emphasis on resilience, Spring’s renewal of inspiration, and Summer’s celebration of growth. Each workshop is designed to address your evolving needs. For these, we will gather on Saturday mornings at 10 am for 90 minutes.

You’ll also receive a copy of Your Woven Year, a seasonal hybrid journal-planner-notebook. It’s a companion and invitation to work with, not against, the natural cycles of energy and creativity.

Give yourself permission to pause, connect and rejuvenate with The Thread.

Embrace Renewal

What sets The Thread apart is our holistic approach to well-being. In the midst of busy schedules, we offer a space for reflection and rejuvenation. Take a moment to pause, breathe, and nurture your mind and spirit.

We are ready to support you, ensuring you emerge from each session feeling refreshed, empowered, and prepared to face the months ahead with renewed energy.

The Thread is for you if:

  • You want space to pause, think and recharge

  • You want to embrace the ebb and flow of the school year

  • You are uplifted by interactions with likeminded people
