Delivering tailored workshops & programmes

I design bespoke learning experiences with a combination of knowledge and know-how, leading to insight and implementation. I do this with an inside-out and an outside-in approach that recognises the capacity of individuals and the environment they live and work in.

Together we can create workshops or programmes which specifically support your emerging needs. I bring 20 years of experience as an Educational Psychologist with a deep skillset covering learning, relationships and the nature of change. This means I can deliver learning with depth, nuance and coherence, thus creating deep and long-term impact.

Examples of previous Workshops & Programmes

Lead yourself well

Leadership is a mindset and a way of being that starts with leading ourselves. Understanding ourselves and our inner lives (how we think and feel) allows us to be intentional and responsive in how we live, learn, lead and relate. In this session, we get under the surface of what this means for each of us and how we can use this insight as we grow.

Collaborative Leadership

We talk a lot about collaboration and teamwork and we are all part of many ‘teams’. Together we will explore the key principles and features of effective collaboration, providing you with a roadmap for understanding how to nurture trust and psychological safety as the foundation for collaboration.

Leading Change

When we understand the challenge of improvement as an interpersonal process, we are better equipped to remove barriers to improvement and engage others in the work that needs to be done. As leaders, our job is to actively engage and enable others to participate in the process of advancement. In this workshop we explore the distinct phases of engagement and how we can apply this in practice. As well as planning for improvement, we must also plan for de-implementation (what we will stop doing).

Resonant Conversations

Living and working in a complex, changing, and uncertain world means we can drop into habits and patterns of relating, which are sometimes transactional at best. These sorts of interactions don’t tend to leave us feeling resourced or with new insights into our life or work. Resonant Conversations will help you enhance your capacity for listening (to yourself and others) and so deepening relationships. By thinking better together, we can improve what we do and how we do it, building trust, psychological safety and a better culture for all.

Kind words

“As well as being an excellent trainer, Sarah is a pleasure to deal with when scoping out what we want from a session or project.  She takes the time to carefully explore what you want to achieve and always comes back with thoroughly thought through and well-planned solutions.”

— Greg Dempster, AHDS General Secretary

“Sarah is one of those unique people that you seldom encounter in life but are very grateful when you do! She is the veritable definition of active listening. Her intuition and insight, drawn from many years of experience in a range of disciplines, is compelling. She really ‘gets people’ and those who have had the privilege of working with her as a leadership coach continue to reference Sarah’s sessions in their daily work.”

— Lisa, Falkirk, Head of Service
