Growing into new spaces

It's been lovely to start sharing not only the end result of the hard work but also the stories held within. I've had lots of people sharing that it feels 'very me' and that it evokes a feeling of calm. I couldn't have hoped for better feedback

Since setting out on this path, I've grown into both my own business and what 'business' means. It was never the plan to start a business (not that there was ever really much of a plan), it's taken a while to find 'my way'. And at the same time, the business has grown into something more, something more than I expected.

It's this 'something more' that I really wanted to capture in the brand design and brand ecosystem. Saorsa is rooted in psychology, coaching and understanding. It is these roots that will allow us both to continue to grow and to keep being bold.

Last week, while facilitating a residential leadership workshop, I found myself in a Redwood forest. If you're not familiar with them, Redwoods are among the tallest trees in the world but what's interesting about them is that their roots don't go very deep. Instead, their roots connect and intertwine, spreading up to 100ft, it's this that means they can grow tall, and they can withstand the winds and the floods. Redwoods don't grow tall alone.

By the same principle, the strength and impact of my work come from my ability to weave psychology, coaching and understanding together. And doing that with the nuance that enables this to connect deeply with the person, people or system I'm working with. It's why and how I'm good at what I do, or as someone kindly said this week, why I'm 'wonderful' at what I do.
