Karma Coaching
A while back I offered 4 coaching sessions to the first 4 people who messaged me on Twitter. The 4 spaces were filled really quickly and today I completed those sessions.
Being able to offer space in this way is important to me. It's about how I grow my impact and how I help others to grow their impact.
This is my 'karma coaching' offer. It's not very sophisticated and I have no doubt I could have more structure to it and I believe this will come but for now it's more important to me to do it than to have a shiny process for it.
What's interesting is that some people were skeptical of my motives for this. They thought it would mean people would think they couldn't manage without coaching and would therefore be 'hooked'.
I could have let that stop me or put me off. I didn't and I'm glad I didn't. I've helped 4 people. 4 people now have clarity on a situation and a plan of what they want to do and have shifted their thinking (the problem is often NOT the problem) which means they can now take better action.
I have helped 4 leaders connect the inner and outer work of leadership.
